Job summary

FirstOption Workforce Solutions is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper to own day-to-day financial operations such as AR/AP, reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and financial reporting. The role involves digging into numbers, spotting discrepancies, and helping leadership make informed decisions.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, strong QuickBooks and Excel/Sheets skills, and can communicate professionally with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably managing a company’s full books.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel or Google Sheets.
• Experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem solving and organization.
• Ability to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, leadership, and accounting partners.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and complete monthly bookkeeping procedures.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and resolving billing discrepancies.
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor bills, payment schedules, and vendor statement reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, payment processors, and online marketplace transactions.
• Monitor cash flow and maintain a rolling 13-week cash-flow forecast to help leadership plan ahead.
• Prepare financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, cash-flow, and budget-versus-actual reports.
• Support inventory accounting, payroll coordination, budgeting, CPA requests, and other financial needs.

Ready to take ownership of the books and make an impact? We’re looking for an experienced Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, reconciliations, cash flow, and financial reporting.

This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys digging into the numbers, catching discrepancies, and helping leadership make informed business decisions.

• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, collections, and resolving billing discrepancies
• Manage accounts payable, including vendor bills, payment schedules, and vendor statement reconciliations

Requirements:

• 3+ years of bookkeeping experience, preferably with experience managing a company’s full books
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with AR, AP, reconciliations, financial reporting, and cash-flow forecasting
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to investigate discrepancies and solve problems independently
• Excellent organization, follow-through, and ability to manage multiple financial priorities
• Comfortable communicating professionally with customers, vendors, leadership, and accounting partners
• Experience with e-commerce, wholesale, manufacturing, inventory accounting, or online marketplaces is a plus; accounting/finance education or equivalent experience preferred

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday
• 9 AM – 5 PM

Salary:

• $22 - $28/Hour
