Job summary

IKEA USA in Palo Alto is seeking a Fulfilment Operations Manager to lead daily operations and develop the fulfilment team, ensuring safe, sustainable and cost-efficient goods flow that delivers high product availability and on-time order fulfillment.

You will drive continuous improvement, collaborate with transport partners, and ensure compliance with IKEA standards while fostering an inclusive, high-performance work culture.

Qualifications

• University degree or 7 years of related experience
• Minimum 2 years of managerial experience
• Experience leading end-to-end fulfilment or operations teams

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end daily fulfilment operations across inbound, warehousing, order fulfillment and outbound
• Coach and develop the fulfilment team and drive performance with a focus on safety and cost efficiency
• Implement improvements and new technologies to boost efficiency and customer experience
• Collaborate with internal teams and external transport providers to secure cost-effective end-to-end fulfilment
• Ensure operations comply with IKEA standards, code of conduct, health, safety and environmental regulations
• Support sustainability initiatives and profitability through optimized capacity planning and execution
