Job summary

Job Summary

Responsible for shipping of material for customer demand.

Essential Functions

• Shipping, picking, and packaging of all orders for fulfillment warehouse.
• Knowledge of shipping systems for small packages and freight.
• Stocking and ordering boxes.
• Weekly Cycle Counting.
• Responsible for clean-up and storage.

Competency or Position Requirements

Picking, Boxing, and packing experience. Good written and verbal communication skills, math skills to add and subtract with the ability in measuring material to verify specs. Ability to work individually and with a team.

Education/Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Forklift and scissor lift experience preferred.
• Minimum of 6 months in manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience using, power and air tools.

Time Spent Performing Tasks

60% standing/walking, 10% twisting, 10% lifting, 20% stocking or pulling inventory from shelves (task percentage varies depending on cell focus). Lifting Requirements:75% up to 20lbs, 25% 30-40lbs, anything greater than 40lbs a pallet jack will be used.

Physical Factors

Indoors/Outdoors year round.

Working conditions

8am-4:30pm M-F, overtime as needed (scheduling varies depending on cell focus)
