Job summary

MSM (Northern Safety) is seeking a warehouse associate in Mobile, AL to perform receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, packing and shipping duties. You will operate forklifts and other equipment, ensure accurate labeling, and help keep the facility clean and organized.

The role requires 1-2 years of material handling experience, forklift certification, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team or independently.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 1-2 years of material handling experience.
• Ability to operate forklift, rider reach truck, stock picker or hand truck; forklift certification required.
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Software or Integrated Logistics Solutions preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and visually inspect incoming freight.
• Stock and verify quantities; manage overstock per procedures.
• Pick, pack, and label products for shipping.
• Process orders using warehouse equipment and routing to processing area.
• Ensure correct shipping orders and labels; coordinate with carriers.
• Address damages, shortages, or inventory discrepancies.
• Conduct cycle counts and maintain clean, organized facilities.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
