Job summary

SRS Distribution Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Worker to support warehouse maintenance, shipping and receiving, product storage, and delivery setup at our Calera, Alabama facility.

The role involves complying with safety policies, preparing orders, loading/unloading trucks, and maintaining accurate inventories. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 pounds, operate a forklift, and work well both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• One to three years of experience or more preferred.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health and safety compliance in accordance with company policy.
• Prepare orders by processing requests, pulling accurate materials, and placing them in the appropriate area for customer pickup or delivery.
• Load and unload trucks as necessary.
• Maintain inventory controls by minimizing material damage and ensuring order accuracy.
• Organize the warehouse and manage bin locations.
• Establish, maintain, and promote high standards of customer service.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, walk or stand for most of the shift, and wear protective gear and steel-toed boots.
• Ensure equipment is maintained to company operating standards.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
