Job summary

Würth Industry North America seeks a Warehouse Associate to perform a variety of distribution tasks in Hicksville, NY. You will handle receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging, and shipping while maintaining safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Role requires lifting up to 80 lbs, forklift certification, and ability to work independently or in a team. WMS knowledge and 1-2 years of warehouse experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1-2 years of material handling or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and pass forklift certification.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Software a plus.
• Must read and interpret shipping tickets and procedures.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and stand 8-10 hours.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties: receiving, stocking, order filling, packaging and shipping.
• Receive, unload, and visually verify incoming freight.
• Verify quantities and correct stock placement; identify overstock.
• Prioritize and fill orders with warehouse equipment.
• Safely pick and package products with proper labeling for shipping.
• Verify orders vs slips and prepare for shipment.
• Report damages, shortages, and inventory discrepancies; conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
