Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a dedicated associate in New Jersey to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and safety. You’ll operate and maintain powered equipment, validate orders, and connect customers with the right associates to ensure a great shopping experience.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to safety protocols. Starting pay ranges from $15.92 to $16.75 per hour, with benefits available for eligible full- and part-time associates.

Qualifications

• 6 months of computer experience (inputting data, retrieving information).
• 6 months of experience with common retail technology (smartphones, tablets).
• Forklift certification required or to be obtained if not currently certified.

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver excellent service by validating orders and guiding customers to the right associates.
• Operate and certify powered equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Support inventory accuracy and resolve short picks with leadership guidance.
• Complete administrative tasks, audits, and locker management, reporting safety concerns.
• Maintain a customer-first mindset with strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
