Qualifications

  • Proficient with MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of SAP/Acumatica, kaizen, Kanban, 5S, ISO9001 and basic accounting.
  • Familiar with Salesforce and CPQ for sales processes and platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Manage orders inventory and materials from approved vendors.
  • Set safety stock levels and monitor inventory effectiveness.
  • Receive purchase requisitions and verify accuracy/authorizations.
  • Oversee inside sales order entry of customer POs from multiple sources.
  • Coordinate shipping/receiving to align with objectives.
  • Lead kaizen activity and cost-improvement initiatives.
  • Perform production scheduling including capacity planning and MRP.
  • Monitor KPI/metrics and report progress regularly.

They will administer and maintain accurate inventory, improving performance, procuring materials and resources, and securing compliance. They will have an internal and external customer focus and the ability to communicate specifications and product function, automate workflows, stay organized, streamline tasks and processes while staying aligned with the aG policies.

The Customer Fulfillment & Operations Specialist - will implement/ manage best practices for purchasing and planning calibrated and engineered product. Manage processes and practices across the manufacturing and fulfillment organizations. They will administer and maintain accurate inventory, improving performance, procuring materials and resources, and securing compliance. They will have an internal and external customer focus and the ability to communicate specifications and product function, automate workflows, stay organized, streamline tasks and processes while staying aligned with the aG policies.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for efficient management of orders inventory and materials from approved vendors.
  • Setting effective safety stock levels and managing inventory effectiveness in accordance with planning and demand.
  • Receives purchase requisitions and verifies for accuracy and authorizations.
  • Responsible for managing inside sales order entry of customer’s POs from a variety of sources.
  • Manage logistics unit concerning shipping and receiving in accordance with corporate objectives.
  • Conducts, promotes, and supervises kaizen activity within departments in accordance with cost improvement plans.
  • Performs production scheduling functions in accordance with customer demand to include capacity planning and material requirements planning.
  • Manages quarterly inventory validation activity per corporate requirements.
  • Liaison with Revenue Operations team on data governance, transparency, and process improvement
  • Develop, monitor and report progress on KPIs/metrics on a regular cadence
  • Manage and promote cross-functional team approach in the execution of the plans and activities within the departments.
  • Performs customer service duties as necessary or as requested.
  • Responsible for controlling outbound freight costs.
  • Improve the business processes for each department through analysis and collaboration.
  • Get involved in long-term business planning at the managerial level.
  • Collaborate with department management to develop financial plans and goals.
  • Analyze the performance of fulfillment, manufacturing, and warehouse in order to make recommendations for improvements.
  • Develop, implement, and review operational policies and procedures.
  • Help promote a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale. Manage on-time delivery of products to customer dates including customer priorities.
  • Monitor and report supplier on-time delivery performance.
  • Manage scheduling and usage of product obsolescence to achieve $0 obsolescence costs.
  • Manage inventory levels and safety stocks in accordance with policies and material KPIs.
  • Support worker communication with the management team.
  • Perform shipment verification and pre-shipment inspections as required to ensure order accuracy, product completeness, and compliance with customer requirements.
  • Maintain and administer Bills of Materials (BOMs), ensuring accurate system data and alignment with engineering specifications, procurement needs, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Create, release, and manage manufacturing/work orders to support assembly operations and customer delivery commitments.
  • Monitor material availability, identify shortages, and coordinate corrective actions with suppliers, purchasing, engineering, and operations teams.
Requirements
General Requirements
  • Working knowledge in MS office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Knowledge of SAP/ Acumatica, kaizen, Kanban, 5S, ISO9001, and basic accounting skills
  • General knowledge of sales processes and platforms including Salesforce and CPQ
  • Effective communication skills to all levels of the organization
  • Ability to effectively communicate and interface with many corporations, customer, and employee levels
  • Need to apply strict confidentiality rules to daily workload
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Effective decision-making skills
Specific Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or similar course of study required
  • Master’s degree in engineering, business, or similar course preferred
  • 5+ years’ experience in the manufacturing sector
  • 5+ years’ experience in a customer focused role with internal and external customers
  • 5+ years’ experience in a leadership role
