Job summary

Strive Pharmacy in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Fulfillment Pharmacist for our overnight team. You will review and verify prescription orders, ensure accurate compounding calculations, and perform quality checks on sterile and non-sterile preparations.

Working closely with SOPs and state regulations, you will counsel patients, support providers with dosing guidance, and help maintain the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required.
• Retail fulfillment experience preferred.
• Experience in compounding.
• Understanding of aseptic technique.
• Familiarity with USP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Checking entered prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
• Performing calculations to ensure ingredients within a formula are measured and utilized properly.

Compensation Range: $125,000 - $135,000

Position Overview:

As a Fulfillment Pharmacist on our overnight team, you will play a critical role in driving clinical excellence, patient safety, and operational efficiency during key production hours. In this high-impact position, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing and verifying prescription orders, ensuring precise compounding calculations, and conducting rigorous visual quality checks for both sterile and non-sterile preparations. Working in close adherence to Strive Pharmacy’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), state regulations, and industry standards, you will serve as a vital clinical resource, offering expert guidance to healthcare providers, counseling patients, and ensuring every medication shipped meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science (BS) in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fulfillment experience in a retail setting or equivalent
• Experience in compounding
• Understanding of aseptic technique
• Familiarity with USP guidelines

This position is primarily based in an onsite work environment. The role requires regular periods of sitting, standing, and computer use, with occasional lifting as needed. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
