Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Maintenance Manager in Pasadena, TX to lead a dynamic maintenance team focused on safety, efficiency, and operational excellence. You will develop maintenance strategies, solve complex challenges, and empower technicians to perform at their best.

You will oversee preventative maintenance, coordinate contractors, and monitor MHE performance, applying hands-on leadership and strategic planning to optimize site operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Engineering Technology, or Reliability Engineering or 2+ years of Amazon RME (BB/3P) Full Time experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
• 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• 2+ years of direct leadership/supervisory experience.
• 2+ years of CMMS experience.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of service technicians and automation engineers, fostering professional growth and performance.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols during maintenance activities across the site.
• Design and implement preventative maintenance programs to enhance efficiency.
• Coordinate external contractors while maintaining high-quality service standards.
• Monitor MHE metrics and address system performance issues with cross-functional teams.
