Job summary

Paxon is seeking a hands-on Operations Supervisor to lead fulfillment activities at the Avon, IN facility. The role focuses on establishing KPIs, audits, and process improvements to drive safety, quality, and productivity.

You will supervise day-to-day operations and coordinate shifts to meet outbound goals. The role requires strong leadership, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• College degree preferred; HS degree or GED required.
• Experience in warehousing/3PL/distribution/manufacturing env. preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Bilingual English/Spanish desired but not required.
• Ability to multitask and coach teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of WMS.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Establish KPIs for each department in the warehouse.
• Manage all process and product-quality audits.
• Launch quality-improvement initiatives with teams.
• Investigate sensitive cases and provide customer service information.
• Supervise day-to-day activities per SOPs, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Actively contribute to development of Radial direct reports.
• Manage temporary workforce and coordinate shift activities.
• Ensure compliance with safety, OSHA, HazMat, and DOT requirements.
• Lead fulfillment projects and monitor production metrics.
• Recruiting and performance management activities.
