Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. in Ruston, LA seeks a Fulfillment Associate to pick, stage, and fulfill orders across Pickup, Delivery, and Curbside channels. You’ll respond to customer questions, maintain inventory accuracy, and support safety and maintenance standards.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 6 months computer use, 1 year of retail customer service experience, and forklift/Narrow Aisle certification or willingness to obtain it.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of computer use (inputting, accessing, modifying data).
• 1 year of retail customer service experience with issue resolution.
• Certification for Counterbalance Forklift, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Order Picker or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Coach and model service excellence through accurate picking, staging, and order validation.
• Respond to customer and associate questions, resolve issues, escalate when needed.
• Balance service, administrative, and maintenance tasks with fulfillment duties.
• Use the Orders App to pick, stage, and fulfill all order types (Pickup, Install, Delivery, Same Day / Gig, and Curbside).
• Partner with Pro Sales to ensure Pro Call Ahead Orders are picked and staged and resolve issues quickly.
• Support inventory accuracy, SIMS compliance, and shrink reduction through audits and validation.
• Maintain safe, organized fulfillment areas and enforce safety standards.
• Operate and certify powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck) per safety rules.
• Assist with scheduling, coverage, and communication of fulfillment priorities with leadership.
• May be assigned other duties to support business needs.
