Parts Town is seeking an experienced Fulfillment Center Supervisor – Outbound to lead the outbound team in a 150k sq ft facility. You will oversee pick/pack/shipping, drive safety, and ensure on-time, accurate order fulfillment while coaching staff and collaborating with leadership to optimize processes.

The role requires strong knowledge of warehouse operations, outbound shipping, and a continuous improvement mindset.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
• Experience with outbound shipping processes and cycle counts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely, accurate order fulfillment.

The Job at a Glance

The Warehouse Outbound Supervisor at our 150k square foot, state-of-the-art fulfillment center, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outbound department within the warehouse. This role ensures that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment in a timely and efficient manner. The Outbound Supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates, enforces safety standards, and drives productivity to meet performance goals.

A Typical Day

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct training to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and other departments (receiving, inventory, etc.) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the picking area.
• Monitor and report on productivity, error rates, and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Schedule labor and manage timekeeping for team members to ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or order issues related to picking.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and support employee engagement.

The annual salary range for this role is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, equipment, and geographical location. Encompass is a pay for performance-company.
