Job summary

Parts Town is seeking an Inbound Fulfillment Center Manager (OEM Parts Wrangler) to lead inbound operations, plan staffing, and drive safety and quality initiatives. You will coach front-line supervisors, coordinate with leadership on process improvements, and ensure timely inbound receiving while managing costs.

The role requires 2–5 years in operational management (DC preferred), strong English communication, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years' experience in operational management (Distribution Center experience preferred)
• Fluent in English (verbal and written) and strong communication skills
• Able to move around on concrete surface
• Detail-oriented with focus on quality while reducing costs
• Hold team members accountable for policies and safety procedures
• Proficient in MS Excel; bonus for MS Access; familiar with HighJump, SAP, AutoStore

Responsibilities

• Lead inbound operations planning, organizing, controlling and directing inbound processes
• Develop daily staffing plans based on volume and labor projections
• Coach and develop DC supervisors; build a strong, cohesive team

The Job at a Glance

As the Inbound Manager (Internally known as Manager, OEM Parts Wrangler) you will drive department initiatives through planning, organizing, controlling, and directing the Inbound operation. You will coordinate team members to generate a smooth workflow, spearhead quality goals, manage team schedules, and build a daily staffing plan based on volume, and labor projections. You will be a superior team-builder through coaching and developing team members, planning daily activities, making on-the-floor decisions to eliminate operational constraints and bottlenecks, and leading process improvement efforts.

A Typical Day

• Improve team members skills through cross training and schedule building
• Coach and develop the Distribution Center supervisors
• Drive safety, teamwork, productivity, and quality initiatives
• Coordinates with Training Team to see that all team members are provided adequate training and resources needed to succeed in every role
• Ensure all incoming product is received into inventory quickly and accurately
• Collaborates with VP of Operations & Supply Chain, DC Managers & Supervisors on process improvement, unique solutions, and opportunities to drive growth and efficiency
• Manages staffing levels, coordinating team Time Away and monitoring overtime

To Land This Opportunity

• You have 2-5 years' experience in operational management (Distribution Center experience preferred)
• You thrive within a team atmosphere and independently manage assignments and tasks
• You have experience with labor management
• You display excellent communication skills with all levels of team members and you're fluent in English (verbal and written)
• You are able to continuously move around on concrete surface
• You're a stickler for details and strive to continuously improve quality while reducing costs
• You hold all team members accountable for operational and safety policies and procedures
• You demonstrate Intermediate to Advanced skills in MS, Excel *Bonus points if you know MS Access!
• You have a working proficiency with HighJump, SAP software, and AutoStore
• You're looking to work Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM and are flexible to adjust your schedule as business needs require. You are also available to work Saturdays as needed.
• You possess the ability to move around for long periods of time and consistently lift up to 40lbs unassisted.

The salary range for this role is $68,361.61- $102,123.53 annually which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
