Job summary

Parts Town’s Georgia fulfillment center is seeking an Outbound Supervisor to lead the pick, pack and shipping teams, ensuring accurate, on-time order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment. You will coach and develop staff, enforce safety standards, monitor productivity and quality, and collaborate with receiving and inventory to optimize workflow.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years in warehouse ops (1+ in supervision), WMS and RF experience, and forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in supply chain or related coursework a plus.
• 2+ years of warehouse operations experience, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with WMS and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities; proficiency in English.
• OSHA safety standards knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus; forklift certification preferred.

The Job at a Glance

The Warehouse Outbound Supervisor at our 150k square foot, state-of-the-art fulfillment center, is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the outbound department within the warehouse. This role ensures that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and prepared for shipment in a timely and efficient manner. The Outbound Supervisor leads a team of warehouse associates, enforces safety standards, and drives productivity to meet performance goals.

A Typical Day

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the pick, pack, and shipping teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Monitor employee performance, provide coaching, and conduct training to maintain high productivity and quality standards.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, safety procedures, and quality control standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse leadership and other departments (receiving, inventory, etc.) to optimize workflow and resolve operational issues.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment in the picking area.
• Monitor and report on productivity, error rates, and order accuracy; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Assist in developing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency.
• Schedule labor and manage timekeeping for team members to ensure adequate staffing during shifts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies or order issues related to picking.
• Promote a positive, team-oriented culture and support employee engagement.

To Land This Opportunity

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant coursework in supply chain or logistics is a plus.
• You have 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, with at least 1 year in a lead or supervisory role.
• You have experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning equipment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities. You’re proficient in English (verbal and written).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices in warehouse operations.
• You have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures and conditions.
• Manual dexterity to operate warehouse equipment and tools.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is helpful.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• You can work Monday – Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM along with occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends as needed.

The annual salary range for this role is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, equipment, and geographical location. Encompass is a pay for performance-company.
