Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current Pharmacist license as granted by state licensing authorities.
• Experience handling confidential information.
• Willing to work non-standard hours (evenings/holidays/weekends).
• Experience delivering customer service to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Performs fulfillment center pharmacist tasks including prescription verification and data review to ensure accuracy and appropriateness of medications.
• Reviews, interprets and dispenses prescribed medications within pharmacy workflow.
• Supports efficient pharmacy workflow and helps optimize pharmacy financials, inventory, and processes for quality output.
• Maintains knowledge of pharmacy IT systems and inventory management to support staff and productivity.
• Responds to policy questions from staff and provides feedback to ensure compliance with HIPAA and procedures.
