Job summary

Mochila Fulfillment in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Operations Manager to lead fulfillment operations at the new FC, reporting to the CEO. You will own day-to-day safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience, building a high-performing team of leads and operators.

You’ll manage staffing, coach employees, analyze data, and drive continuous improvement through Six Sigma and Lean methods while partnering with senior leadership to meet client commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university strongly preferred.
• Direct management experience of an hourly workforce in manufacturing, production, or distribution environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with senior leadership, clients, and warehouse staff.
• Ability to analyze data to identify opportunities to improve performance.
• Interest in long-term career development with a rapidly growing and innovative company.

Responsibilities

• Ensure overall safety, quality, productivity, and customer experience of shift operations.
• Support safety programs and implement new safety initiatives.
• Coach and develop staff; mentor team for higher responsibility and leadership.
• Improve processes and systems to exceed safety, quality, and production goals.
• Forecast staffing needs and adjust to meet daily, weekly, monthly production goals.
• Collect and analyze data to reduce defects and drive continuous improvement via Six Sigma/Lean.
