Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is hiring an Operations Engineer to lead and manage cross‑functional projects from design through deployment of next‑gen sortation and distribution solutions. You will partner with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely handovers and delivery within budget, safety, and quality targets.

Ideal candidates have automation project life cycle experience and have managed large capital projects with strong schedule discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial or manufacturing engineering required.
• Experience managing cross‑functional projects and automated equipment.
• Travel up to 75% and valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and improve order fulfillment infrastructure across large-scale network.
• Manage medium scope automated projects (sortation, conveyors, robotics).
• Lead vendor coordination and on-site installation with budget oversight.
• Develop budgets, RFPs, change orders, and invoicing documentation.
• Lead system commissioning, testing, and hand‑offs to site teams.
• Ensure safety, quality, and operational readiness across sites.
