Job summary

Lowe's Companies, Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and speed at our Alabama location. You will validate orders, assist customers, and connect them with the right associates while maintaining safe staging areas.

Responsibilities include operating powered equipment and supporting inventory accuracy through the Orders App; expect to follow safety protocols and complete administrative tasks daily.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered equipment certification required: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time.
• Deliver service by selecting quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and directing customers to the right associates.
• Operate and maintain powered equipment certification and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and resolve short picks with leadership.
• Complete administrative and readiness tasks including audits, follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns.
• Achieve daily duties with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned additional duties to support business needs.
