Job summary

Lowe's is seeking a store operations associate in the United States to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time while keeping areas clean and safe. You will use handheld devices, validate orders, and connect customers with the right associates.

You will operate powered equipment and follow safety requirements. Strong communication and teamwork are essential as you support inventory accuracy and duties at the store level.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months of experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and partnering with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks and report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
