Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Area Manager to lead a team of hourly associates, drive safety, quality, attendance, and performance, and ensure on-time delivery to customers across our WW Operations network.

You will mentor staff, collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, and HR to meet business objectives, while managing workflow across first, middle, and last mile. The role requires flexibility for shifts, weekends, and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of employee and performance management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon experience.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce.
• Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises.
• Collaborate with Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, QA, HR to develop plans to meet objectives.
• Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts.
• Work in an environment with variable noise and weather (outdoor loading areas).
