Job summary

Spreetail is looking for an Area Manager to lead either inbound receiving/stow or outbound pick/pack/ship operations. You will manage frontline associates and shift leads, driving daily throughput, safety, and quality while modeling accountability.

You will champion Lean and continuous improvement, coordinate capacity planning with supply chain partners, and serve as the primary operational liaison with marketplace partners and carriers to resolve issues in real time.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of direct supervisory experience in high-volume fulfillment or similar.
• Strong ability to interpret production metrics and adjust labor accordingly.
• Experience mapping processes and drafting SOPs for standardized work.
• Demonstrated EQ to give feedback and foster a high-performance team.
• Willingness to work non-standard shifts during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day shift operations for inbound receiving/stow or outbound pick/pack/ship.
• Drive Lean/continuous improvement to reduce cost-per-unit and improve accuracy.
• Coach and develop shift leads and associates; manage 1-on-1s and retention.
• Coordinate capacity planning with supply chain and carriers to balance volume.
• Serve as operational point of contact with marketplace partners and carriers.
• Enforce safety SOPs and maintain 5S standards.
