Job summary

U.S. National Park Service at Flight 93 National Memorial is seeking a Maintenance Worker (FUL) to perform site upkeep, repairs, and safety tasks to protect and preserve the memorial. This is a career-seasonal position with benefits identical to permanent appointments, but not year-round work.

Work is scheduled from roughly mid-April to mid-March, with a non-pay status for the remainder of the year. The role requires the ability to interpret instructions and blueprints, to use and maintain

Job description

You will serve as a FUL- Maintenance Worker for the National Park Service at Flight 93 National Memorial.

This is a Career-Seasonal position. Career-Seasonal appointments are permanent positions and include the same benefits as permanent appointments, but do not provide work on a year-round basis. You will work from approximately mid-April to mid-March, and you will be in a non-pay status for the remainder of the year.

To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors:

• Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT)
• Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specification, etc. (includes blueprints reading)
• Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment
• Knowledge of materials
• Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic)
