Job summary

CHENEGA INDUSTRIAL GROUP, LLC in San Antonio, TX, seeks a Safety Manager, Fuels to architect and oversee the health and safety program across the organization, including SOP development, documentation, and implementing audits.

The role requires extensive DoD fuel systems experience, leadership of site safety officers, training, and collaboration with senior leadership on strategic planning and field audits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive project safety management in fueling systems repair or construction.
• 5+ years DoD Fuel Systems Maintenance exposure or oil & gas repair exposure.
• 5+ years case management experience.
• Background and drug screening must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement the Fuels Health & Safety Manual and program.
• Provide training to Site Safety & Health Officers and supervise safety responsibilities.
• Implement audit program for field monitoring per internal and client requirements.
• Communicate with team members and support teams to meet project requirements.
• Participate in business plan and strategy development as directed.
• Lead periodic team meetings and conference calls.
• Develop safety training program and manage electronic employee certifications.
• Develop technical proposal templates and proposal sections.
• Develop standard health & safety work plan templates and templates.
• Travel regularly to job sites to perform audits.
• Perform case management including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Manage safety equipment programs including air monitoring and fall protection.
• Support Senior Leadership in annual business plan development and execution.
• Other duties as assigned.
