Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer in Owensboro, KY. This part-time position offers 24 hours per week with two shift options: Mon/Wed/Fri 9:00am–5:30pm or Mon–Fri 1:00pm–5:30pm.

You will fuel, wash, and inspect vehicles and be the face of Penske as customers arrive. No prior experience is required; Penske provides training to learn maintenance processes and prepares you for potential progression to a diesel technician.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (or equivalent) required
• Valid driver's license required
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varying conditions
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance awareness and adherence required

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and ensure a great experience while fueling and washing vehicles
• Perform basic vehicle readiness inspections (tires, fluids, etc.)
• Maintain clean, safe facility environments for customers and associates
• Build skills through training to perform minor repairs (tires, preventive maintenance)
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor
