Job summary

Penske is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer in Norfolk to fuel, wash, and prepare vehicles for delivery. You’ll greet customers, perform basic inspections, and support maintenance tasks. Training is provided with opportunities to grow into a technician role.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and customer service, with shift-based hours and competitive benefits. Prior experience not required, and DOT/OSHA compliance is part of the job requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to work well as part of a team.
• The ability and willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage (preferred).
• Basic computer skills.
• Must follow Penske safety and maintenance policies (DOT/OSHA).
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• DOT drug screen and related requirements for CDL holders may apply.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers and ensuring a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections for tires, fluids, and basic maintenance items.
• Help keep facilities clean and safe for customers and associates.
• Build skills through training to perform minor repairs (tires, rotations, preventive maintenance).
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
