Job summary

Kirby Inland Marine Lp at the Brazos River Fueling Facility in Freeport, TX seeks a safety-focused Yard Utility to transfer fuels and lubes to vessels and trucks, manage transfer paperwork, and perform facility maintenance and barge fleeting tasks.

No experience is required; training will be provided. Candidates should be safety-minded, reliable, and able to work on-site with valid transportation.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely transfer fuels and lubes and operate related equipment.
• Willingness to perform facility maintenance and housekeeping duties.
• Must be able to attend required trainings and pass a physical.
• No prior experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver/receive fuel, lube, and supplies for marine vessels.
• Keep fuel area clean and maintain tank/truck rack.
• Perform regulatory compliance functions and inspections.
• Be able to perform emergency response duties.
• Inspect pumps, hoses, and transfer equipment.
• Facility maintenance including mowing and weed eating.
• Janitorial duties of the office.
• All other duties as assigned.
