Job summary

Penske in Garner, NC is hiring a Fleet Maintenance Fueler Washer to greet customers, fuel and wash vehicles, and ensure they are ready for the road. No experience is required; training will cover maintenance processes and safety standards.

You will develop skills through hands-on coaching, assist with minor repairs, and help keep the facility clean and safe. Penske offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities to grow toward a technician role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or prior work experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willingness to work outside.
• Basic mechanical ability and tool usage preferred.
• The associate must understand and comply with Penske safety policies and instructions.
• Must meet DOT/OSHA safety requirements and be able to pass required screenings.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.

Responsibilities

• Greeting our customers and ensuring they have a great experience as you fuel and wash vehicles.
• Performing vehicle readiness inspections to ensure tires, fluids, and basic maintenance items are checked.
• Helping keep facilities clean, safe environments for customers and associates.
• Building skills through training and hands-on coaching to perform minor repairs such as tire mounting/replacement/rotation and basic maintenance.
• Completing other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
