Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a dedicated CDL driver responsible for delivering petroleum products to company sites and customers. You will load/unload, perform safety checks, and ensure accurate paperwork while adhering to regulations.

Qualified candidates hold a valid CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, possess a TWIC card, and can pass a DOT drug screening. Weekend availability and a strong customer service demeanor are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with clean MVR.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• TWIC card required.
• Prior fuel truck driving experience preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment DOT-regulated drug screen.
• Must meet DOT/FMCSA physical and medical requirements.
• Subject to quarterly FMCSA/DOT drug screens.
• Excellent customer service demeanor.
• Must be available to work weekends, if necessary.

Job description

Overview

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.
