Job summary

Great Lakes Petroleum Co. is seeking a CDL driver to deliver petroleum products to company sites and customers, with home daily routes. You will operate company trucks, maintain cleanliness, and ensure accurate paperwork in line with regulations.

Local routes, overtime opportunities, and safety bonuses are available. Requires CDL Class A or B, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, TWIC, and a clean driving record; weekends/extended hours may be needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with valid license and clean driving record.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required.
• TWIC required or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Prior fuel or hazardous materials transport experience preferred.
• Must pass DOT pre-employment drug test and ongoing random testing.
• Meet DOT/FMCSA qualifications including Medical Examiner's Certificate.

Responsibilities

Description

This position is responsible for the proper and efficient completion of assigned duties and operation of their vehicle. Drivers are responsible for delivering petroleum products to company owned sites and customers.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations.
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws.
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and\/or facilities as required by Company policy.
• Maintains miscellaneous service duties such as checking oil, water, fuel, tires and tank related items on a daily basis.
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures.
• Communicate and coordinate with dispatchers on a daily basis.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Pay range: $22 to $27 per hour (based on experience, qualifications, and geographic location).
• Overtime opportunities available in accordance with applicable laws.
• Quarterly safety bonuses (eligible after 120 days of employment).
• Monthly performance bonus based on gallons delivered (eligible after 120 days of employment).
