• Hourly Pay: $20.00 per hour
• Sign-On Bonus: Ryder pays you $2000 at 30 days and $2000 at 90 days
• Schedule: Monday–Friday

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Three or more years of related work experience preferred
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
• Customer service skills; ability to understand verbal communication
• Understanding of computer hardware and software, especially word processing, spreadsheets, and email; basic computer skills and data entry ability
• Dependability and thoroughness; ability to work flexible schedules, including shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to work at different locations
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships across all levels
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
• Must be 18 or older
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
• Valid Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class A preferred
• This is a DOT safety-regulated position; must be able to obtain CDL within 6 months of hire, pass Ryder drug test, DOT physical, road test, and background checks, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Fuel vehicles, record activity, maintain inventory and reconciliation, check oil and tire pressure
• Move heavy-duty vehicles, wash and detail vehicles, wash windows
• Perform multi-point inspections on inbound units as per company policies
• Report service issues to the shop
• Perform minor maintenance such as tire repairs and wheel alignment
• Assist with facility maintenance and environmental compliance
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards
• Perform other duties as assigned
