Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking an experienced Fuel Technician to join our award-winning team with a focus on the maintenance of aviation fuel components in accordance with component maintenance manual instructions (C.M.M.). This position is based in Miami, Florida.

The role requires attention to regulatory compliance, ability to document procedures, and troubleshooting of pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to ensure flightworthiness of components.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• A&P certification preferable; able to perform full maintenance per OEM data.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
• Technical or trade school certifications.

Responsibilities

• To accomplish fuel component testing, repairs, overhauls, and/or alterations in accordance with parts 43 and 145 in the Code of Federal Regulations, with particular emphasis on fuel-controlled actuation, pumps, valves, controls, HMU's, etc.
• Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications, and inspection results).
• Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components.
• Troubleshoots complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
• Inspects components and verify repairs for flightworthiness requirements.

Important Notice

Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.
