Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in aviation fuel systems and component MRO operations.
• Strong technical knowledge of aircraft fuel components and repair processes.
• Proven leadership experience managing technicians, supervisors, and shop operations.
• Established aviation industry customer relationships and ability to generate new business.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily shop operations, including technicians, supervisors, production schedules, and workflow.
• Manage turnaround times, production output, and on-time delivery while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical oversight of fuel system components, including fuel pumps, fuel controls, valves, and related aircraft components.
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations, repair station quality standards.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new business opportunities to grow the fuel systems division.
• Manage staffing, labor planning, shop capacity, and resources to meet demand.
• Monitor operating costs, support pricing and quoting decisions, and identify efficiency improvements.
• Collaborate with Customers, Sales, Engineering, Quality, and other departments to support customer needs.

The Director of Fuel Systems is responsible for the overall leadership, operational performance, technical capabilities, and business growth of the aviation fuel systems division at GA Telesis MRO Services Component Repair Group (CRG). Reporting to the VP and General Manager, this role will oversee daily shop operations, production schedule, workforce management, quality compliance, customer relationships, and financial performance to ensure the fuel division consistently meets customer expectations and business objectives.

This role requires a strong understanding of aircraft fuel systems, proven leadership experience, and the ability to grow revenue, improve efficiency, and maintain high standards of quality. This position is based in Miami, Florida.

• Aviation MRO Software-QuantumControl, preferred.
