Job summary

ABS Fuel Systems is seeking an experienced fuel transporter to deliver petroleum products to company locations and wholesale partners. You will operate a tanker truck, loading at terminals and serving retail sites, while working independently to complete assignments.

The role requires CDL Class A with hazmat/tanker/air brake endorsements, DOT medical cert, and the ability to pass drug and alcohol tests. Weekend and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
• CDL Class A with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements, TWIC card.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to pass company drug, alcohol, and physical tests.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, overtime, and on-call shifts.
• Experience with regulatory agency requirements (e.g., DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA).
• Licensing/certifications as applicable (e.g., CETP delivery modules for propane).
• Proficient in Android tablets and web-based software applications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver petroleum products to company-operated and wholesale locations.
• Maneuver a tanker truck into loading racks, fuel terminals, and retail locations.
• Work independently to complete loading and delivery tasks.

Job description

Job Summary:

Ability to drive and maneuver a fuel tanker truck to deliver petroleum products to company operated and wholesale customer gasoline and convenience locations.

Requirements:

• Three or more years of petroleum or propane delivery experience preferred.
• Commercial Driver’s License, Class A, with hazmat, tanker, and air brake endorsements, TWIC card.
• Valid DOT medical certificate.
• Ability to pass company-provided drug test, alcohol test, and physical.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, overtime, and on call shifts.
• Experience with regulatory agency requirements (e.g., DOT, HazMat, OSHA, FMCSA).
• Licensing and certifications as applicable (e.g., CETP delivery modules for propane).
• Proficient in the use of Android tablets and web-based software applications.
• Ability to maneuver a tanker truck into position at loading racks, fuel terminals, and in and out of retail convenience locations.
• Must be able to work alone to complete each task and load required.

Compensation:

Pay range based on experience is $35–$40 per hour (DOE), with overtime paid after 40 hours. We also offer a lucrative safety incentive bonus for eligible drivers. Come join the ABS Team and experience the difference yourself.
Our CDL A Fuel Tanker drivers have an average employee tenure of 8.2 years, reflecting our commitment to our drivers and our team. Additional Compensation & Incentives:

• $1.50/hour premium for all weekend hours.
• $1.50/hour premium for PM hours.
• Up to $3,000 yearly Safety Bonus, based on eligibility and performance.
