Job summary

Topco Associates seeks a Fuel Analyst to support daily management of fuel inventories, scheduling, cost analysis and supply operations across the Topco Fuel network. This role plays a key part in ensuring reliable product supply while driving cost optimization and reporting accuracy.

The Fuel Analyst will collaborate with suppliers, terminals, pipelines and internal stakeholders to optimize movements and maintain inventory integrity across Topco's U.S. network of terminals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in analytical or business discipline.
• Experience analyzing complex data and reporting findings.
• Strong communication skills across organizational levels.
• Knowledge of SAP and Tableau is a plus.
• Proven ownership of projects with adaptability to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily refined products and ethanol inventory positions.
• Forecast inventory requirements to ensure uninterrupted supply.
• Schedule pipeline movements and shipments to meet demand.
• Monitor inventories and identify potential shortages or issues.
• Prepare regular inventory and cost reporting.
• Analyze fuel cost, pricing and savings opportunities.
• Support SAP back-office operations and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with suppliers, terminals, pipelines and internal stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
