Job summary

Jimmy Jazz is seeking an Inventory Accounting Specialist to oversee fuel stock levels, reconcile inventories, and coordinate procurement and scheduling to ensure reliable deliveries and cost-efficient operations. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and collaboration with suppliers and internal teams.

A background in accounting procedures will support accurate financial reporting.

Qualifications

2–4 years of inventory control or logistics experience preferred.
Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office Suite; understands general accounting procedures.
Strong analytical ability to identify trends and manage inventory forecasts.

Responsibilities

Inventory Tracking & Auditing: monitor fuel storage levels and reconcile daily inventories.
Logistics & Scheduling: coordinate deliveries and manage vendor relationships to prevent shortages.
Reporting: balance end-of-day records and generate weekly/monthly reports for regulatory compliance.
Analysis: review trends to forecast future inventory needs.
Pricing & Administration: update fuel pricing in accounting software and notify changes.
Communication: coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and management to resolve issues.
