Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Obetz, Ohio is hiring a Fueler Service Technician to keep our fleet moving on second shift. You will fuel, wash and inspect vehicles, record fuel activity, and support maintenance tasks in a fast-paced setting.

We offer weekly pay, medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO, 401(k) match, uniforms and boot allowance, training, and a range of discounts. CDL A preferred, must be 18+, able to pass drug and DOT requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Two years or more of related work experience preferred.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated customer service skills; must understand customer's verbal communication.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Understanding of computer hardware and software; basic data entry skills.

Responsibilities

• Fuel, wash and detail vehicles.
• Perform multi-point inspections and report service issues.
• Record fuel activity and maintain inventories.
• Move heavy duty vehicles.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks under supervision.
• Maintain fuel island area to Six Sigma standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
