Ryder System, Inc. in Romeoville, IL is hiring a Fueler Service Technician to operate on second shift, 2:30pm–11:00pm, Sunday–Thursday. Earn $25.15 per hour with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

You’ll fuel vehicles, perform inspections, keep fuel inventories, maintain the island, and support shop operations. Benefits include medical/dental/vision after 30 days, PTO, 401(k) match, tuition repayment, and more.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of experience preferred or no experience required.
• Proficiency in English written and verbal communication.
• Understanding of computer hardware/software; data entry.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• CDL Class A preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fuel vehicles.
• Wash and detail vehicles; move heavy duty vehicles.
• Perform multi-point inspection on inbound units and report issues.
• Record fuel activity and maintain inventories and reconciliation.
• Maintain fuel island area to standards and policies.
• Perform minor facility maintenance as assigned.
