Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to manage handling, storage, and shipment of oil, fuel, and other petroleum products. You will operate pumping equipment to load various transport modes and perform fuel testing and safety compliance.

As skills grow, you may supervise others and mentor soldiers, with opportunities to pursue civilian career paths in oil refineries and transport sectors. Training begins with Basic and Advanced Individual Training (AIT).

Qualifications

• Must enlist in the Army National Guard.
• High school diploma or GED, and be 17–35 years old.
• Must pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and packaged petroleum products.
• Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water to using units from storage and distribution facilities.
