Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks Petroleum Supply Specialist to ensure proper handling, storage, and shipment of petroleum-based products such as oil, fuel, and compressed gas. In this role you may supervise reception, storage, and distribution, operate pumping equipment, and assist with testing and safety procedures.

You will train during Basic and advance to AIT, with civilian career paths in refineries and transport, plus benefits and tuition support.

Qualifications

• Attention to handling hazardous petroleum products and safety procedures.
• Ability to learn testing and sampling procedures for fuels and oils.
• Willingness to train for equipment operation and logistics tasks.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and packaged products.
• Issue and dispense fuels and water to using units from storage facilities.
