Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Petroleum Supply Specialist to oversee reception, storage and shipment of fuels and related products. You will operate pumping equipment, test samples, and ensure safety procedures across storage facilities.

As you gain skills, you may supervise and train others and take on more duties. After Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, you can pursue civilian career paths in oil and gas industries. Enlistment is required.

Qualifications

• Military enlistment in the Army National Guard.
• Must be at least a junior in high school, or have a high school diploma or a GED certificate.
• Must be between the ages of 17 and 35.
• Must be able to pass a physical exam and meet legal and moral standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock bulk and package products.
• Issue and dispense bulk fuels and water from storage and distribution facilities to using units.
