Job summary

Buell Fuels is seeking a Full-time Inventory Control Specialist for our Waterville, NY office. You will manage inventory records, track shipments, and perform audits to prevent discrepancies, while delivering friendly customer support in person, by phone, and by email.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, 1+ year of customer service, and comfort with database software. This role offers growth opportunities, a day shift, and an hourly pay range of $19–$25.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1+ year of customer service experience preferred.
• Experience in fuel delivery or heating industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly customer support in person, by phone, and by email.
• Track incoming and outgoing shipments, log inventory changes, and maintain records.
• Perform physical counts and audits to reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain positive customer relationships.
• Handle data entry and reporting for assets, purchasing, and stock.
• Monitor reorder points to prevent overstocking.
• Enter and verify purchase orders in the database.
