Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Fuel Injection System Design & Release Engineer to own core engine fuel injection components across engine families. You will develop components, manage changes, and drive optimization for performance and fuel economy, collaborating with CAE and design teams to build robust DVPR packages.

This role involves leading APQP activities, initiating source packages, ordering prototypes, and conducting DV/PV testing, with travel up to 20% to facilities in the US,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of fuel injection design and release experience.
• Proficiency with CAD/CAE/CFD/FEA and GD&T.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and release core engine fuel injection components (e.g., high pressure fuel pump, fuel rails, injectors).
• Develop and manage changes; conduct DFMEA and build robust DV/PR packages.
• Collaborate with designers and CAE to optimize designs and ensure testing readiness.
• Initiate source packages, conduct APQP meetings, order prototypes, and perform DV/PV testing.
• Support product launch activities, manufacturing reviews, and post-test reviews.
