Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Fuel Injection System Design & Release Engineer in the Auburn Hills area. You will design and release fuel injection components across major engine families, driving reliability, performance, and fuel economy improvements.

Collaborate with CAE teams, use DFMEA to identify risks, and lead APQP meetings during development. Travel up to 20% to facilities in the US, Canada, and Mexico may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in fuel injection system component design and release.
• Knowledge of CAD/CAE/CFD/FEA and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and release core fuel injection components for engine families.
• Lead DFMEA activities and build robust DVP&R to meet reliability goals.
• Coordinate APQP, source packages, DV/PV testing, and post-test reviews.
