Jet Aviation Teterboro is seeking a Fuel Farm Lead to support the Fuel Farm Supervisor in maintaining safe, compliant operations of aviation-fuel storage and distribution systems. This hands-on senior role coordinates shift priorities, verifies inspections, reviews records, and provides guidance without direct reports.

The position requires flexibility for a 24/7 operation, with potential night/weekend schedules and overtime.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma/GED required; related training preferred.
• Two years of related experience in aviation fueling or related field preferred.
• Experience with fuel receipt, sampling, testing, storage, and inventory.
• Lead, trainer, or senior technician experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Coordinate shift activities and provide clear work direction.
• Participate in fuel receipt, sampling, testing, storage, transfer, and inventory control.
• Verify required opening, shift, closing, safety, environmental, and quality-control inspections.
• Monitor tank levels, fuel deliveries, transfers, inventory reconciliation, and discrepancies.
• Inspect tanks, piping, pumps, valves, meters, and safety equipment.
• Identify unsafe conditions, stop work when necessary, and escalate concerns.
• Maintain accurate electronic and paper records of receipts, testing, inspections, and inventory.
• Support preventive maintenance and spill response activities.
• Provide hands-on training and coaching to Fuel Farm Technicians.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-free work environment.
