Position Description

This role requires a background check, MVR, and physical/drug screening. The Construction Foreman supervises construction activities, manages job site personnel and subcontractors, and ensures projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to quality standards. The role involves coordinating projects to maximize profitability, exceed client expectations, and ensure safety and compliance. The Construction Foreman also acts as Job Site Safety Officer, implementing injury and illness prevention policies. Must follow instructions, complete tasks safely and on time, and report to the Director.

Travel Requirements

This position involves frequent travel. The initial training period is approximately four weeks at our Richardson, TX office, with 25-50% overnight travel. Post-training, travel increases to 50-75%, with potential for up to three weeks out of town during busy seasons. All travel expenses are covered by the company.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Oversee and participate in field activities, including documenting all phases.
  • Maintain presence in the work area unless relieved by an authorized interim Foreman.
  • Order and document materials and rental equipment.
  • Inspect and inventory equipment, materials, and parts upon delivery.
  • Schedule inspections, coordinate with inspectors, and oversee subcontractors.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings and identify hazards.
  • Ensure safety compliance and maintain a clean, secure work environment.
  • Report accidents and incidents promptly.
  • Keep projects on schedule and within labor hours, discussing overtime as needed.
  • Submit installation instructions, warranty documents, and as-built drawings.

Minimum Work Experience & Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience in commercial petroleum construction, installation, or supervision.
  • Certifications: ICC UST Install/Retrofit, ICC UST Removal, ICC Service Technician, Veeder Root.
  • Good judgment and adaptability to changing conditions.
  • 24 or 40-hour HAZWOPER certification or current refresher.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word).

Additional Requirements

  • Background check, MVR, and physical/drug screening completed.
  • Clear and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to drive and haul trailers, and support extensive travel.
  • Organizational skills and good housekeeping practices.
  • Ability to read design plans and diagnostic reports.
  • Physical ability to walk on various terrains, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range: $33/hr - $42/hr
