Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking an entry-level Fuel Center Associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, and maintain the fuel center's cleanliness and safety. You will also fill out incident and security reports, recover displays, and support compliance with company policies.

In this role you will pump gas, answer phones, complete daily tours and inspections, manage spills, and interact with customers with honesty and courtesy while upholding the company values of respect,

• Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes

Responsibilities

• Model Customer 1st behavior; deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
• Pump gas
• Complete daily tour and inspection
• Fill out incident and security reports
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department
• Perform cashier functions
• Answer telephones
• Comply with corporate policies
• Comply with all safety guidelines and standards
• Promote and follow company initiatives
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
