Job summary

Kroger is seeking a fuel center associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, pump gas, and maintain cleanliness at the fuel center. You will complete daily inspections, file incident reports, and ensure safety and policy compliance while delivering friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires honesty, integrity, and the ability to work collaboratively with team members, including handling emergency information and assisting diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and manage cash register.
• Pump gas.
• Complete daily tour and inspection.
• Fill out incident and security reports.
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report.
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department.
• Perform cashier functions.
• Answer telephones.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.

• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
