Job summary

Kroger in Kentucky is seeking a Fuel Center Associate to assist customers, operate the cash register, pump gas, and keep the fueling area clean and safe.

You will handle incident and security reports, follow corporate policies, and support displays and inventory while delivering on Kroger's values.

This role requires flexibility in a fast-paced environment and teamwork to ensure excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and manage cash register.
• Maintain neatness and cleanliness of the fuel center.
• Recover stock, fill out incident and security reports, and maintain compliance documentation.
• Demonstrate Kroger's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety.
• Pump gas.
• Complete daily tour and inspection.
• Fill out incident and security reports.
• Clean up fuel spills and complete Fuel Spill Report.
• Recover displays; maintain cleanliness of department.
• Perform cashier functions.
• Answer telephones.
• Comply with corporate policies.
• Comply with safety guidelines and standards.
• Promote and follow company initiatives.
• Maintain knowledge of emergency plans numbers and procedures.
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment.
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner.
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary to resolve customer and business issues.
