Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. (ESS) is seeking a Fuel & Lube Assistant to support our fleet and heavy construction equipment. You will fuel, grease, and perform basic maintenance to maximize uptime and productivity on job sites.

The role requires safety-minded individuals who are mechanically inclined and able to work early mornings, travel to sites, and lift 50+ pounds. Drug screening and MVR checks are part of the process, with opportunities to grow into technician or CDL fuel truck operator roles.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Willingness to travel and work early mornings or extended hours.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fueling, greasing, and basic fluid services on heavy construction equipment
• Support equipment inspections and report leaks or service concerns
• Help maintain inventory of oils, filters, and lubricants on the service truck
• Keep equipment and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Complete and submit basic service documentation as required
• Travel to job sites as directed and assist with daily fueling schedules

This position plays a vital role in ensuring equipment is fueled, lubricated, and maintained to maximize uptime and productivity. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, and thrives in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with fueling, greasing, and basic fluid services on heavy construction equipment
• Support equipment inspections and report any visible leaks or service concerns
• Help maintain inventory of oils, filters, and lubricants on the service truck
• Keep equipment and service areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
• Follow established safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
• Complete and submit basic service documentation as required

Minimum Requirements:
